Stay Humble- Stay Hopeful

Hello wonderful world!  Today I want to talk about a company that I absolutely adore, and I’m sure many of you do too:  Lokai!

I am so excited, because Madison and I just got our brand-new purple Lokai bracelets yesterday (these limited edition bracelets support the Alzheimer’s Association), so I am inspired to share a little bit about Lokai‘s mission and what they stand for.

Lokai‘s mission statement “Stay Humble- Stay Hopeful” is all about finding balance between life’s lows and highs.  The founder of Lokai, Steven Izen, created Lokai to remind us all to stay balanced in life.  The black bead contains mud from the Dead Sea–this represents all of life’s lows.  The white bead contains water from Mt. Everest–this represents life’s highs–those times when we feel on top of the world!  The bracelet forms a circle, reminding us that life is all about cycles.

Lokai donates 10% of all proceeds sold from their bracelets to charity, and the limited edition purple Lokai bracelet will be supporting the Alzheimer’s Association.  This adds to the lengthy list of charities the company has supported including:  Save The Children, Susan G. Komen, World Wildlife Fund, Best Buddies, Charity:  Water, Cure Alzheimer’s Fund, Pencils of Promise, Music Beats Hearts, American Himalayan Foundation, Bent on Learning, and Kind Campaign.

Here at “The Karma Corner,” we love to support companies that are all about doing positive things and promoting good karma.  I am such a fan of Lokai, the charities that they support, and their philosophy of living a balanced life.  I know that I experience highs and lows in life all the time–do you?
