Fat Fast: Day 3

Hello everyone!

Today is Day 3 of my Fat Fast.  I am 4lb down from where I started on Monday morning.  Pretty impressive for only 2 days.  It is getting easier, so I must be getting keto-adapted.

Fat Fast

7:30am- Fat-fast friendly coffee, with 1 t grassfed butter (Kerrygold), 1T extra virgin coconut oil, 2 packets of Truvia, and a splash of vanilla.  I also added 1T of heavy whipping cream, and it really upped the creaminess factor!  A quick blend in my Ninja, and my frothy, high-fat coffee is ready to go!

10:35am- It may seem a bit too early for lunch, but my stomach is feeling unsettled, so lunchtime it is!  Lunch today is (14) jalapeno pepperonis and (2) Extra sharp White Cheddar cheese sticks (the Cracker Barrel brand).  It is satisfying, and my tummy is feeling better.

3:00pm- My snack for today is 2T of strawberry cream cheese and a 1/2 scoop of chia seeds (You can buy the brand that I use and love here!).

4:00pm- I’m not sure if it’s the fat fast itself or today’s addition of high-fiber chia seeds, but I definitely have been up and down to the bathroom today!  I feel like my system is getting a good clean-out!!

4:45pm- 1T strawberry cream cheese

6:30pm- Dinner time!! (14) jalapeño pepperonis, (2) extra sharp white cheddar sticks, 1T sour cream, 1T dill relish.  Good stuff! ?

9:00pm- 16T of sugar-free whipped cream

9:45pm- I could really go for something to eat right now!  My stomach has an empty feeling, and I’m ready to go to bed and stop thinking about food!

Total Net Carbs: 10.7

Percentage of Calories from Fat: 85%
